Shot of the week 1-2

This year I would like to present you my favourite shots that I have done during the week.
I will be presenting my "shot of the week" each Sunday. Although I have done some shots that really pleased me during the past week, this shot that I did this afternoon is my favourite from all the shots.

An afternoon stroll...

today the light in the afternoon was most stunning. We used this time to take the dogs out and I took some pics meanwhile...
Around Dunnet Head, the most Northerly point on the British Mainland.

"Lonely Death in a foreign Country"

"Moonstruck"

"Nevermore"

How incredible fast 2008 has gone by. Looking through many of my last years photos, I decided to make a little "Best of" list. First I wanted to select one absolute super dooper best of photo, but quickly realised that this is not possible.

Anyway, I decided to go for three pics now.

Here they are.....

Three very different photos, but all dear to my heart.

SWPP & BPPA Gold Awards & Upgrades December 2008

Having entered a few images last month and not got a Gold award for the first time this year, I have entered 2 again this month and one got the sought after award.

Also I have learnt that one of my Silver winning images was reviewed and got upgraded to a Gold too.

This year was very successful again with a total of 13 Golds, countless Silvers and very few Bronzes. It could have been better, but hey, lets not complain :-)

Here is the Gold of this month and the upgraded one from a few month ago...

Loch More

Last Sunday I had a phantastic time shooting at Loch More, Caithness. The sun was just about to set over this beautiful place, giving the most amazing lightshow. The only draw back was, I disappeared into a boghole which kind of "dampened the whole experience a little" :-)

Roses

I had a little play with some shots of roses tht I shot earlier... Unfortunately I don`t have too much time to do those shots.... I just love them, what do you think?

Night time play

whenever I had the chance to go out in the evening for a little recreational shoot, I took the opportunity. Here are some of my efforts... some taken in freezing cold conditions, but hey, it was so worth it!

A few changes...

I completely re-designed my website with a new colour scheme. Please come and have a look, a lot of new photos have been added too, so you surely wont miss out in having a little peep.
