Morning glory

Here are some more shots from our walk this morning. I love it when it is high tide and there is a great looking sky to go with... what more can a photographer want?

Lifeboat Rendevouz

While being out on a lovely walk this morning, we saw the rendevouz of Thurso lifeboat "Taylors" RNLI 17-42 and Longhope Lifeboat RNLI 16-05.

It was faszinating to watch them both speeding towards the harbour, meet up for some sort of exchange and the part again.

On Saturday I did a pet portrait shoot for Labrador Retriever Rescue Caithness & Scotland which turned out to be a huge success! Having planned to stay for about two hours I ended up shooting dogs for well over double that time.

The dog photo sessions proved very popular yet again and I took the photos of over 30 dogs.

Over the last couple of days there was some really good surf on and I could not resist to sneak down to the harbour an shoot some of the surfers. At the end I went home with over 1600 shots in the bag :-)
A good practise for the opcoming surf competitions...Highland Open roll on!
